Lemon yellow in appearance. The aromas of fresh fruits reminiscent of white peach and pear, of spices like white pepper and clove, of flowers such as jasmine and honeysuckle and of sweet scent suggesting caramel, all melted-in in a complex but graceful manner. On the palate, smooth and voluminous, and the refreshing, umami-filled acidity gives firmness. The finish shows purity resulting from gentle pressing. This is a new style of Koshu where you can enjoy the invigorating power even in its subtleness, and at the same time, look forward to its future development via ageing.
