Mortlach 12年 2.81誕生於1823年達夫鎮(Dufftown)首座合法威士忌酒廠,為該區最為經典且獲獎無數的蘇格蘭單一麥芽威士忌。由於採用的2.81蒸餾法極為精密耗時,產量一直非常稀少,創立後長達一世紀,
